All about happiness

What is happiness to you?
‘Happiness’  I think now days this word has lost its existence in everyone’s life.  People think its waste of time to spend a little time for themselves. Everyone is in a rush. A rush for money, a rush to excel in their respective career, or some unknown rush. Little we forget all it takes is less than 10 minute to be happy.
You greet everyone with a smile. But do you really smile from your heart?  It takes same amount of time and same amount of energy but smiling from your heart really have some positive effects on your own personality.

And now I ask you what your definition of happiness is? For some it might be living in a big house, or buying an expensive car, or shopping in dubai. But surely there would be some people whose happiness would not limit to these materialistic things. They will get a little piece of happiness in the wrinkled yet sparkling eyes of their parent, or by listening to their favourite song on radio, or maybe by giving a surprise to their loved one just by showing up at their office.
If you are among that second type then you are enjoying the life according to your terms. You are those who could inspire people not because you’ve achieved it all but because you are inheriting the best from your journey to achieve it all.
And even there is no problem being the first type. But surely you are missing something in your life if all those things don’t even bring a smile on your face. If you are so busy making money or your carrier that you ignore every single person who really wish for your success. One day your success will change to loneliness just because you gave no importance to your loved ones in your struggling days

Now another yet most important question.
When was the last time you were  happy ? The last time you laughed so much that your stomach started to ache. The last time you did a cheerful dance. Everything seemed perfect to you. You were enjoying the present so much that you had no time to think about future.
So do you remember the last time you were so happy?
Was it just a minute before? Does it happen so frequently with you? Ohh I envy you then.
Or was it about yesterday? Why didn’t it happen today my dear?
Was it about a week ago? Then what stopped you these days?
Ohh or it was so long time back that you don’t remember it even? Then you are doing something wrong with your life.
Now all I want to say is don’t limit your happiness with your success or any achievement. You will achieve it once you do your work with a smile on your face. Don’t think once you top the exam you’ll celebrate or once you achieve something bigger then you’ll celebrate. There are hell lot of things to procrastinate and happiness is definitely not one of them.
All I want from every one of you reading this post is to smile, not only from those lips but from your heart.

Greetings

Tanya Jain

Why are we afraid of dreaming and trying??

Tara, a 7-year-old girl was little mischievous, yet polite. Her dreams were high but her personality was down to earth. She always wore a smile on her face but use to cry when she could not complete her homework. Pending work was always a burden. She didn’t love studying but her mother was a good teacher and a friend too. Most of the time when she thought she was playing with her mother actually she was learning something.
Despite all this, Tara had a dream. She wanted something, and like other children, she never forced her parents to get anything. Either she tries to get it on her own or she just asks them once for it.
But this time what she wanted was not a Barbie or a Barbie house. She wanted something which was almost next to impossible to get. She wanted the moon. Yes, she was crazy. She loved the moon and wanted to keep it with her under her pillow. Maybe her mother was not good with her sharing lessons. (Just kidding)
Every evening she went to the terrace, she gazed at the moon…
